President and Provost office

The office provides administrative, operational and strategic services to advance the President and the Provost’s vision and priorities.

Organizational structure

The President and Provost office includes the following sub-units:

President and Provost’s Executive Office

The General staff of the President and the Provost at EPFL plays a Central role in strategic advice, project management and coordination, ensuring the feasibility and implementation of the vision set out by the Presidency and its associated initiatives.​

Drawing on the diversity and excellence of its expertise, the team actively contributes to the development of the institutional strategy and supports the Presidency promoting and advancing its missions and collaborations. It also ensures a smooth transfer of files and information between the President and the Provost. As an engaged actor in fostering connection and communication between the Presidency and the EPFL community, the team works closely with the other teams within the Presidency Office. Acting as a facilitator, it strives to create an environment conducive to collaboration, information exchange and the emergence of promising projects

Management Affairs

The Management Affairs are responsible for managing the Management meetings, as well as those involving the entire Management Team.

Institutional Affairs

Institutional Affairs includes the International Relations and Public Affairs of EPFL.

Legal Affairs

Legal Affairs support the Direction and leadership with their legal expertise.

Mediacom

Mediacom is the central communications unit at EPFL.
