Physics Travel

Students participating in the voyage must pay the next installement as indicated on the email received 10th June by 27th June.

Presentation Each year, at the end of their bachelor, the physics students travel to another country to meet their pairs. This year, we have decided to visit India, one of the worldwide leader in natural sciences. The students will thus have the opportunity to live an enriching experience during which they will share culure and skills.
Voyage preparations The voyage is fast approaching and there are several things that must be done before we leave. Pay attention to not forget to:

  • Get vaccinated. Information about the possible risks in India were sent when you registered for you SOS card, however you can also discuss which illnesses are likely to be problematic with your doctor.
  • Get you VISA. An email with more information is coming shortly.
  • Check that you have everything that you need for the trip. Given that part of our voyage will be spent at more than 3500m you will need to bring warm clothing. It may also be useful to bring some medicine in case of diarrhoea. But beware! For the flights in India, the baggage weight limit is 15kg, as a result it is important to not bring especially heavy of large things. The trip to Hanle will be carried out by minibus and could therefore be quite uncomfortable if everyone brings large bags.

More information about the trip can be found here.
