EPiX – The Science of Epitaxy
Open to academic and industrial research, hosted on the EPFL campus in Lausanne (Switzerland), EPiX offers access to state of the art epitaxial facilities and know-how built on over 40 years of research experience in EPFL.
Created in 2024 by merging the labs and experience of world class research units of EPFL, EPiX operates as a platform for the use of Metalorganic Vapour Phase Epitaxy (MOVPE) and Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE). A broad range of III-V, II-V and group IV epitaxial layers and heterostructures can be grown in our facilities towards advanced optoelectronic devices for a large range of applications.
