ECOTRIB 2025

Four members of our group participated in Ecotrib 2025, held in Zürich, one of Europe’s leading conferences on tribology, each one talking about their most recent work.

  •  Dr. Calixe Bénier presented her research on the multiscale lubricating behaviour of ionic liquids, providing valuable insights into their performance across different scales.
  • Dr. Anna Igual contributed with a presentation on the tribological behaviour of NiCr self-lubricating laser cladding materials, underlining their relevance for advanced engineering applications.
  • Alejandro Velázquez presented his work on the tribology of rice grains, offering a novel approach that applies tribological principles to food processing.

Their contributions reflect the diversity of topics addressed within our group, ranging from advanced lubrication concepts and engineered surfaces to innovative applications in agricultural products and systems.

We thank the organizers of Ecotrib 2025 for providing an excellent platform for scientific exchange and collaboration within the tribology community.
