The Swiss Mathematical Society (SMS) Spring Meeting 2027 will take place on Friday 30 April 2027, at the Bernoulli Center on the EPFL Campus in Lausanne, featuring a public lecture at 2:00 p.m. by Professor Hugo Duminil-Copin (University of Geneva). At 4:00 p.m., the programme will continue with the General Assembly of the Swiss Mathematical Society, including budget reports and other Society business.
The Spring Meeting will be accompanied by a four-day workshop, also held at the Bernoulli Center, providing a platform for researchers to exchange recent developments and explore new research directions at the interface of stochastic and deterministic dynamics. The workshop will also foster engagement within the Swiss mathematical community and encourage the participation of
early-career researchers and graduate students.
A detailed programme for the Spring Meeting and the accompanying workshop will be made available as soon as possible.
The workshop and meeting are organised by Professor Xue-Mei Li (EPFL) and Professor Christiane Tretter (University of Bern).
Pre-booked rooms are available at the SwissTech Hotel, located on the EPFL Campus and within walking distance of the Bernoulli Center, at a daily rate of CHF 130 (room only).
Registered participants are encouraged to book early. Please contact Bernadette at the STOAN Office to obtain the booking code.
