This course explores global sustainability issues. It introduces planetary boundaries, their systemic interconnections and themes of social justice. The interdisciplinary approach provides an introduction to group work and systems thinking (interdependencies within a complex system).

Spring semester | Master | 5 credits

The course provides students with a comprehensive scientific understanding of the links between climate and energy systems in the context of sustainability. It will cover topics related to natural and anthropogenic climate change, the fundamentals of energy systems and their efficiency.
