Equipment

Our laboratory is equipped with high-end tools, allowing us to assess a broad range of plant physiological functions. This includes gas exchange systems, Scholander-type pressure chambers, psychrometers, cavicams, sap flow sensors, dendrometers, infra-red cameras, and micro-computer tomography. The lab owns a drone used to take thermal photos of the natural sites.

Our lab also disposes of three climatic chambers which are designed to reproduce temperature, humidity and atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration in a controlled manner, allowing repeatable stability tests to be carried out, simulating the most realistic conditions possible that the plants will face throughout its life.
