I studied Natural Sciences with an emphasis in Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge. Afterwards, I pursued a Ph.D. in Cell Biology at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research. Under the mentorship of Prof. Margaret Robinson I studied how proteins are sorted and trafficked inside cells.
I moved to Stanford University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Anne Brunet where I investigated changes in the brain during aging, focusing on immune cells and how to target them with engineered proteins.
In my free time I love doing sports. I played basketball for Cambridge, rowed at the Lady Margaret Boat Club and love spending time climbing in Yosemite and exploring the Sierra Nevada.
