Congratulations Prof. Perrina!

Since the 1st of April 2025, we welcomed in our lab Professor Chiara Perrina, appointed as Assistant Professor of Physics in the School of Basic Sciences. Chiara was used to be part of LPHE as Ambizione Fellow Postdoc for the past years, now coming back in her new role by winning an SNSF Starting Grant for her current research project, SPACER.

Chiara is an astroparticle physicist, focusing on the data analysis of the Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) mission and detector development for the future High Energy cosmic–Radiation Detector (HERD) mission on board of the Chinese space station.

Together with her brand new lab LCP (Laboratory of Cosmic Paricles), Chiara will supervise young researchers and offer a new Master’s course in astroparticle physics.

Congratulations again Chiara!
