Coupled 2011

The LMS group participated to the International Conference on Computational Methods for Coupled Problems in Science and Engineering on Kos Island in Greece from the 20th to 22th of June 2011.

Coupled Problems is a biennial event focusing on mathematical models, numerical methods and computational techniques for solving coupling problems of multidisciplinary character in science and engineering. The event featured 11 plenary lectures and 49 technical sessions.

From the LMS, Prof. Laloui gave a plenary lecture entitled “Multiphysical Coupled Processes in Underground Nuclear Waste Disposal Problems” and 3 presentations were given in the various technical sessions by Suzanne Fauriel, Azad Koliji and John Eichenberger.
