Project students: If you’re applying for a bachelor/master’s project, or a short-term internship, please fill out the following Google Form. We are taking applications for the spring and summer semesters 2027 right now.
For projects in molecular sciences Ia and Ib (CH-492 and CH-491) conducted during the spring and fall semesters, please use the secure EPFL platform that manages assignments. You may only fill out the Google Form above if you would like to complete your project during the summer.
PhD applicants: Please send your CV, bachelor’s and master’s transcripts, and contact details for two references. Instead of a general motivation letter, please include a statement of no more than one page addressing the four questions below. Postdoc applicants: Please send your CV, contact details for three references, and a statement of no more than one page addressing the four questions below. Please also outline one research direction you would be interested in exploring in LIBN. This is a starting point for discussion, not a formal research proposal. Send everything to [email protected] with the subject line “LIBN postdoc application: your name“.
- Describe one research project you contributed to. What was the question, what did you do, and what did you learn?
- Which questions or approaches in protein engineering and RNA delivery interest you most, and why?
- Which part of our research connects with your interests or experience? What would you bring to the group, and what would you like to learn here?
- What do you hope to achieve during a PhD or postdoc, and how might this position support your next career step? Applicants need not have a fixed long-term career plan.
