Instructions
You can connect to tesladesk.epfl.ch via Remote Desktop. Use your GASPAR account (e.g. INTRANET\gaspar) to authentificate. If you’re outside EPFL campus, you first need to activate your VPN client.
All LEB members already have access to this server. Other EPFL users can be granted access if necessary. NB: only IT admins may install software. For any request, please contact [email protected].

Rule #1: Save your files elsewhere
The D: drive is for temporary storage only. This drive is not backed up! Each user is responsible for his/her data, so please copy your important files elsewhere (e.g. map a network drive to LEBSRV2).
Rule #2: Check CPU and memory usage
This server is used by several people at the same time. Its resources (CPU, memory, GPU, etc.) are shared between users. To check monitor their usage and availability, please use the Task Manager.
Rule #3: Sign out when you’re done
Each open session uses up memory. Always sign out when you’re done, i.e. terminate your user session! Closing the Remote Desktop window does just disconnect you, leaving your session open.
