PhD Positions
We invite applications for an open PhD position in the area of synthetic polymer chemistry, with an expected start date in Summer/Fall 2026.

Students interested in joining our group for a Bachelor/Master projects are invited to send their CV, along with a brief statement (a few paragraphs) outlining their research interests and any prior research experience, to Prof. Suong Nguyen. ISIC Master Grant for Foreign Students
The ISIC Master Grant supports master’s thesis projects conducted by international students at the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC). The grant provides financial support of CHF 1,600 per month for up to six months. Application deadlines are October 15 for thesis projects starting between January–June of the following year, and April 15 for projects starting between July–December of the same year.
Students interested in carrying out a master’s project in our group under the ISIC Master Grant program are invited to submit a single PDF document containing a cover letter, CV, and academic transcript to Prof. Suong Nguyen. Research Interns/Visiting researchers
Researchers with fellowships are welcome to contact Prof. Nguyen to discuss the possibility of joining the group. Candidates can also directly apply through EPFL’s internship programs.
