Water influences the stickiness of Hyaluronan

March 2021: Our recent Science Advances article about Hyaluronic acid is featured on the EPFL main page (English and French)! Our findings open new avenues of research on the role water plays in the human body.

SCS Fall meeting 2020 (online)

August 2020: Many of our students presented at the SCS Fall Meeting 2020 – one of the largest annual research conferences held in Switzerland. For the first time, the Fall Meeting took place as an online conference to fulfill the regulations of the government. One of our PhD students (Tereza) received a runner-up poster prize in the Physical Chemistry section.

TSRC workshop (online)

June 2020: Marie took part in the TSRC workshop on interfacial molecular and electronic structure and dynamics on 22nd June 2020, where she won the Student Presentation Award. 

New PhD student: Bingxin

March 2020: Bingxin joined our lab as a PhD student and will be working on the second-harmonic scattering and modeling. Welcome and good luck!

SCS Fall meeting 2019

September 2019: Many of our students presented at the SCS Fall Meeting 2019. One of our PhD students (Marie) received a runner-up poster prize in the Physical Chemistry section.
