Wave 3: Mobility II

General information
The third wave of the Lemanic Panel, the wave Mobility II largely repeats the questions from the first wave in order to analyse changes in behaviour over time. A total of 3,851 people took part, representing approximately 37% of respondents from wave 1 and 74% of respondents from wave 2. It was conducted between November and December 2024, two years after the first mobility survey.
Questionnaire
Most of the questions are taken from the first wave of the Lemanic Panel. The aim is to analyse changes in the mobility behaviour of the Panel’s residents. Participants were asked on several occasions to indicate whether there had been any changes in their behaviour, place of residence, individual portfolios (mobility subscriptions, driving licences, etc.) or professional or family situation. Excursions and leisure activities were again briefly discussed, and participants were once again given the opportunity to describe several modes of transport using three adjectives of their choice.
Statistics
Once again, around half of respondents were from the canton of Vaud and a quarter from France, with this ratio remaining relatively constant across all waves of the Panel. The gender distribution also remained constant, with a slight majority of women in the sample.
