The Coriolis µ portable biological air sampler collects airborne particles using cyclonic technology paired with a high suction rate (up to 300 L min-1) and has been used for several campaigns (PERICLES, the Lipic-Air Project, and CHOPIN campaign). By generating samples in the fluid phase, Coriolis µ is compatible with bioaerosol analysis methods, such as flow cytometry analysis, DNA extraction and INPs analysis using a cold stage technique. Phosphate buffer saline (PBS, Gibco from ThermoFisher) is used as a liquid collector inside the cone for the following bioaerosol analysis and respectively, nuclease- free water is used as a liquid collector for INPs analysis.
