Mission Statement

At the Energy Transport Advances Laboratory (η-Lab), we study nucleation and transport associated with liquid-gas interfaces, phenomena at the heart of energy and water systems. Our work advances fundamental understanding in thermal science and fluid mechanics and translates it into design rules that enable high-performance, low-carbon technologies for cooling, energy conversion, and clean water production.
