The Terapixel Panorama of the Battle of Murten is a 1.6 terapixel digital twin of an original 19th century panorama of 1000 m2 , created by eM+ . After being tucked away in a military bunker for decades, this national treasure is being brought back to the public’s attention as a multisensory experience.
In 2026, on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the Battle, the Terapixel Panorama will be featured in several exhibitions around Switzerland commemorating the historical event. The first of these shows was held at Murten Museum, from 14 February to 19 April 2026.
