Biomedical and neuromorphic microelectronic systems research group

The Biomedical and neuromorphic microelectronic systems research group currently operates as part of the Microelectronic systems laboratory of EPFL. The mission of the BNMS group consists of conducting research in the fields of bio-medical and implantable neurotechnolgy circuits and system, neuromorphic and machine learning integration methods, circuits and systems and non-conventional computing circuits and architectures. In each of these domains, methods, algorithms, systems and architectures as well as microelectronic circuits are concomitantly explored in a vision to create novel technology and design methodologies. The BNMS group contributes to teaching activities along its research lines, as well as fundamental courses in VLSI, analog and digital microelectronics.
