Master’s semesters 1 and 2
MA 1 and 2: Wednesday 4:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Master’s students take social sciences and humanities courses over two consecutive semesters during the first year of their program. The first semester (fall) is an introduction in the form of face-to-face teaching. The following semester (spring), they conduct individual or group research on the topics developed during the course. The aim is to enable students to work, most often in groups, on developing and resolving a problem in a project-based approach.
As with the open plan for Bachelor’s degree SHS courses, Master’s degree SHS courses are classified into six subject groups:
- Anthropology and Sociology
- Psychology and Linguistics
- History and Philosophy
- Arts and Design
- Law and Political Science
- Economics and Management
Important information!
In the event of exceptional admission to the Master’s program in the spring semester, students will not be able to take courses for which a prerequisite was taught in the fall semester. Students must first take a course of their choice in the fall semester, “SHS: Introduction to the Project,” before they can take the course “SHS: Project” in the following spring semester.
