The SHS brochure presents all the courses in the program and the initiatives undertaken to enrich it and adapt it to changes in our societies.
The visuals were created as part of the the SHS “Graphic Design” course led by Denis Roueche and, beginning in the fall of 2026, by Tamara Niklaus, both of whom are also faculty members at ECAL. The students in the course were asked to work, alone or in groups, to propose five images representing the School and the interdisciplinary aspects of the SHS Program. The project, chosen by a jury composed of teachers and graphic designers, is the work of Arthur Prahin, a bachelor’s student in computer science in the IC Faculty.
A tribute to interdisciplinarity
We encourage students to stay curious, observe the world around them, train their eye—much like developing a refined palate in cooking—and cultivate a critical perspective.
