In his role as Head of EPFL Extension School, Rigas aims to consolidate and significantly scale the offering to those who wish to reskill or upskill in areas related to science, technology, engineering, innovation and management. He is responsible for leading a stellar team of experts, together designing and implementing the department’s ambitious strategy. He ensures the visibility of the Extension School internally and externally; supports course development and delivery; ensures financial sustainability of the course portfolio; maintains existing strategic collaborations and provides impetus to create many more. Rigas is part of the Application Selection Committee for seed grant funding.
