With a background in Quality in the Pharma industry, I enrolled in this CAS program to develop my knowledge in the Supply Chain field, as part of my development plan at Bristol Myers Squibb. It happened at a time when I was thinking about a career move and exploring other areas of the organization I’m working for; it definitely helped me to take the step. For me, the overall highlights of this program were meeting people, developing my network, sharing experience, and competing (in a friendly way!) during the serious business game sessions. The general atmosphere in this program, with the lecturers and classmates, was very nice and interactive; it exceeded my expectations in terms of learning and enjoyment.

The CAS in Resilient Value Chain Management has been one of the best courses I’ve done during my professional life. Very nice to be “back to school”! Despite the years of experience in supply chain, there is always something new to discover and learn. This really was the best platform: Fantastic experienced professors, professional guests & professional team mates from different functional areas bringing diverse and new perspectives to your point of view. Tailor-made around resilience, sustainability, logistics and financial impact, all directly applicable to your professional life with a nice simulation tool (practical case study work).

The program is dense but very well organized. It goes through the most critical areas of the actual Industrial Revolution in a very dynamic and avant-garde approach. Far from remaining a purely theoretical approach, the program actively encourages you to apply knowledge to real industrial cases, guided by leading professionals. This is what makes it unique.

Alvaro Amo, Vice President Global Logistic at Hexagon Geosystems

What struck me in particular was the vast and varied experience of the professors, visiting industry leaders and my fellow participants. The team working behind the scenes is really dedicated to curating a group of people that can bring out the best in each other. I really enjoyed the shared learning and networking. Every person I met brought their own rich and diverse experience with them and we had many deep exchanges throughout. It’s always a two way road so get ready to challenge and be challenged! I think what these programs really excel at is ensuring that we as people and professionals are always at the center, regardless of how technical and deep the subject at hand is. If we as people don’t know how to implement it, then what’s the point. Right?

Graduate of the Executive Master Global Supply Chain Management

Nicolas Basquin, Head of Global Marketing at IRÄYE

I decided to pivot my career towards sustainability because as an alpinist I realized how big and fast the climate change is. My first visit in the white valley in Chamonix literally broke my heart and I wanted to do something about it. This, combined with recommendations from previous alumni pushed me to join. It exceeded my expectations as I really learned a lot from the latest IPCC reports, the 9 planetary boundaries and SDG goals but much more to act at a corporate organization level to reach net-zero emissions. Environmental life cycle assessment, responsible value chains from procurement to more circular practices. And finally, I really enjoyed working in cross-functional teams on different cases especially on the simulation game to test and learn circular strategies.
