On the 5th of march, we will be organizing a movie night and you should definitely not miss out! The movie we will be watching is “Čuvari formule” by Dragan Bjelogrlić.
Čuvari formule (Guardians of the Formula) is a historical drama based on true events surrounding a radiation accident at the Vinča Nuclear Institute near Belgrade in 1958. Set in former Yugoslavia, the film follows a group of young scientists whose experiment goes wrong, exposing them to deadly radiation. As their lives hang in the balance, an unprecedented international medical effort unfolds to save them, highlighting both scientific courage and human solidarity during the Cold War. Directed by Dragan Bjelogrlić, the movie combines tension, emotion, and historical detail to tell a powerful story of responsibility, sacrifice, and hope.
