Our first official event took place last semester – and it was a blast!
The celebration of the 1st of May in Serbia is considered as a public holiday, when people usually get together and spend the day doing a barbecue and enjoying the free day in good company. OCES brought this tradition to campus!
A rich barbecue took place on the Plage de Vidy, where students enjoyed the sunny day in great company. Not only did we provide ćevape, lepinje and šopske salate, but we also invited special guests from Zürich: students that are part of Verein Serbischer Studierender VSS.
Together, we spent an amazing afternoon by the lake, where it felt like we were back home.
