Mail @ EPFL

The Official mail server of the EPFL has a mail quota of around 7 Gbytes for every user.
The maximum dimension of a message (received or sent) can’t be more than 20 Mbyte per EPFL rules.

Every user of the EPFL network has an email address in the form of [email protected]; messages destined to this address is sent to the personal mailbox of the user.

Configure your client

  • If you want use the EPFL’s mail server follow these instructions to configure your mail client.
  • Just the network settings:

IMAP

  • server name: outlook.office365.com
  • port: 993
  • username: [email protected]
  • security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: OAuth2

SMTP

  • server name: smtp.office365.com
  • port: 587
  • username: [email protected]
  • security: STARTTLS
  • Authentication: OAuth2
