WORKSHOP – We all make an impact – What’s yours?


Whether your project contributes to elucidating fundamental scientific questions or aims to solve societal challenges, become aware of your impact and pitch it proudly!


WHO IS IT FOR?

ENAC PhD students, post-docs & scientific collaborators only.

PURPOSE?

  • Identify and validate the potential impact of your research project and/or invention on society by using analyses and value proposition canvas method.
  • Communicate (orally and visually) your impact effectively in 120 sec.
  • Convince an audience that your project will benefit society and is worth investing in.

HOW? 

By attending two trainings with external experts in innovation, entrepreneurship and communication and a public contest in front of the ENAC community and a jury.

THE COST?

The workshop is free of charge. You must be able to attend the two trainings and the contest.

WHAT DO YOU DO? HOW? FOR WHOM? FOR WHAT?

By utilising a value proposition canvas, you will be able to work through a series of stages to determine and articulate what you do and how your project can create impact and for whom (not just for you and your team, but for the end-user, research community and/or society).

HOW TO COMMUNICATE YOUR IMPACT EFFECTIVELY & LEAVE AN IMPRESSION?

The answer to these questions is being able not only to speak easily about what you do, but also about who you are as well as what you are great at. By offering personal coaching and practicing oral and visual tricks, Paperboy will get you started on pitching your impact!
