By analyzing signature Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that differentiate cancer patients from healthy individuals – based on both literature and own experimental data – we aim to develop a point-of-care device capable of detecting these molecular markers. This project focuses on creating a bioelectronic sensor for non-invasive detection of early stage breast-cancer signature VOCs in sweat and addresses the discomfort and delays associated with conventional methods.
