Gelareh Mohammadi

She received her M.Sc from Electrical Engineering Department of Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2006. Her M.Sc thesis title was “3D Landmark Extraction from Human MR Images”, funded by Iran Telecommunication Research Center. From Dec. 2006 till Oct. 2007, she worked in Pajuhesh Gostaran Puya Co., Tehran, Iran, as a Research Engineer and she had active contribution in several projects including OCR, Text Adaptation, Video motion detection and Text tilt Correction.

In 2008, she worked as a research assistant in Prof. Ebrahimi’s Group at EPFL.

Her Research interests include Video and Image Processing, Compressive sensing, Feature Extraction, Pattern Recognition, Image Compression, Machine Vision and Coding Theory.
