Master projects
We propose the following projects for Fall 2026:
- Related to hydrometeor classification with lidars and ceilometers (collaboration with MeteoSwiss in Payerne). See here for more details.
- Related to stratus detection over the Swiss plateau (collaboration with MeteoSwiss in Payerne). See here for more details.
Semester projects
We propose the following projects for Fall 2026:
- Damages related to extreme precipitation in urban environment. See here for more details.
- Evaluation of the global LMDZ model for the simulation of clouds and precipitation microphysics in Antarctica. See here for more details (could be modified to be a Master project).
We are flexible on the proposed projects and open to discussion! MSc projects can sometimes be transformed into semester projects and vice versa…
