November 2023: Our chair welcomes Israa Fakih as a new PSI PhD student. Israa will divide her time between the Paul Scherrer Institut where she is part of the Laboratory for Simulation and Modelling and EPFL.
November 2023: We welcome Yuejia Zhang to our chair as a visiting Phd. Yuejia is a third year Phd student at Fudan University with a research focus on high-performance computing in numerical linear algebra and for scientific applications.
October 2023: We are pleased to welcome Zhipeng Xue to our chair as a new PhD student. Zhipeng will work on randomized linear algebra.
October 2023: Our chair welcomes Muhammad Hassan as a new post-doctoral researcher. Hassan will be working on low-rank tensor train methods for solving the many-body Schrödinger equation.
October 2023: We welcome Mariana Aguilar to our chair as a new PhD student. Mariana was previously a graduate student at the Courant Institute and worked on boundary integral equations.
