Student projects

Master projects (30 ECTS) aim to develop deeper knowledge, understanding, and capabilities on a topic related to the student’s program of study. They aim to demonstrate the ability to conduct independent work in research or development.

Semester projects (4 ECTS/10 ECTS) aim to plan and carry out an interdisciplinary project, explore research questions in a wider context, identify and structure the problem systematically, and become aware of and deal with the challenges of interdisciplinary work.

We are always looking for highly motivated and engaged students to join our team. Beyond the open projects listed below, we welcome applications from students interested in developing their own project topics related to sustainability assessment, urban metabolism, material flow analysis, and energy transition.
