Founded in 1690, the Academy of Sciences of Bologna Institute has a history of more than three centuries. Among its members were the famous Italian and foreign scientists Guglielmo Marconi, Albert Einstein, and Marie Curie.
In 2019, Farhad Rachidi was appointed as one of the 20 foreign correspondent academicians in the Engineering Science Section.
