[Applications closed for Spring 2026]
Looking for Master / Bachelor projects and theses for Summer/Fall 2026.
In a recently published work [link: https://corentindumery.github.io/projects/stacks.html ], we have developed and released a dataset of stacked objects. It is a particularly challenging setting for many computer vision or robotics tasks, and we would like to take things further and use this dataset in new ways. There are many potential follow-up works that could lead to publications and we are looking for students who would be interested in contributing to any of:
-
Refining object segmentation / depth estimation models
-
Improving the counting method
-
3D synthetic data generation in Blender
-
3D reconstruction
-
6D pose estimation
-
Real data collection

Prerequisites
Prior experience with one of the aforementioned topics is a plus, but not strictly necessary if the student demonstrates curiosity for one of the topics. The project will be in Pytorch or in Blender.
