Our programs are designed to address the need for the “Twin Transition”; i.e. both the digital transition and the green transition, driven by cross functional and cross organizational leadership. We cater to the doers and the dreamers.

Our evolution involves an expansion to bring holistic thinking to professionals across business operations, enabling them to become agents of sustainable development within their organizations. We embed both resilience and sustainability imperatives into business strategy & decision making, and leverage EPFLs deep AI & data technology expertise to enable responsible operational excellence and, business continuity.

We have a valued community of alumni, industry and academic experts. We continue to be forward looking to prepare current and future leaders to shape a better world over the next 30 years.

Whether in everyday small decisions or as present or future leaders, SRVC graduates can bring positive change. We constantly remind participants of the leverage that they have in any decision making role.

The goal is to inspire our participants to leave SRVC with the belief that one person can make a difference to build a better future for people, our plant and our economy. Who we are

SRVC is the Sustainable Resilient Value Chains unit of EPFL Executive Education within the Faculty of Management of Technology. It offers a suite of innovative Certificates of Advanced Studies offering a flexible pathway to a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS-Management of Technology).

We are unique in offering young and senior executives a comprehensive value chain education from well-established academic research professors from internationally renowned universities for both technology and business. Equal importance is placed on learning from senior management practitioners at our partner organisations. These include international corporations, as well as young companies born at the EPFL Innovation Park. Our learning approach is blended (in class + remote learning), collaborative, hands-on and based on the latest research in pedagogical best practices.

Legacy Master Program

Our legacy Executive Master in Global Supply Chain Management (known as IML) is the previous generation program corresponding to the current Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Sustainable Resilient Value Chains (SRVC) – Management of Technology   

Our EPFL graduates from 1990 to 2022 have been sought after by industry internationally and hold senior leadership roles driving operations excellence & business transformation globally

This MAS was forward looking and remains one of Europe’s most trusted educational backgrounds due to the level of operations excellence achieved by its graduates and its close IML community of Industry experts.

The present day MAS in Sustainable Resilient Value Chains (SRVC) – Management of Technology maintains the core global focus while addressing ALL Business Operations roles. developing the critical know-how and systemic perspective necessary to become change catalysts in a VUCA world. 

We are proud of a legacy of over 30 years of teaching professionals, a diverse alumni network of more than 1’200 graduates from 75 countries, and strong partnerships with leading international companies, academic institutions, and NGOs.
