Consumer detox

Activity in french only !
Experience a transformation in your consumption habits from March 10 to April 2!
With Détox la terre, we challenge you to take a four-week look at your consumption habits (food, transportation, digital, shopping, housing)! There’s always something new to try!
The personal approach to consumption consists of: 1) observing 2) reducing 3) trying new things!
To kick off the process and move forward together with the strength of a group, we will meet four times during our lunch break on March 10, 17, 24, and 31 between 12:15 p.m. and 1 p.m. at CM 1258 at EPFL.
It is possible to change on your own, but having a small group to exchange ideas with provides inspiration and motivation. The Tuesday lunchtime group sessions, which this year focus on the theme of GIVING, feature a variety of activities (games, themed discussions, quizzes, meditation sessions).
The theme of giving is explored in three ways based on the rich biblical tradition: giving as recognition, giving as justice, and giving as liberation.
Detox la Terre is based on the conviction that, on the one hand, our lifestyle requires us to reduce our consumption in certain areas. On the other hand, it is necessary for our lives to be filled with fulfilling things. We are therefore seeking both to reduce and to fill our lives with things that are good for us and for the Earth.
Everyone is welcome! You can register directly, or come to the detox information session on Tuesday, March 3, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. at CM 1258 at EPFL. It is not mandatory for those who register. It will allow us to answer any questions you may have.
Register here.
We look forward to sharing this adventure with you 🙂
