Each EPFL Vice Presidency or School has its own finance officer.
Finance officers automatically have the right to:
- enter into financial commitments for all cost centres of their Vice Presidency or School up to CHF 50,000.
- grant a signatory right up to CHF 5,000, and exceptionally up to CHF 50,000, for all existing and future funds of their cost centre, in cooperation with the head of unit (professor).
- grant a signatory right up to CHF 5,000, for one or several specific existing funds of their cost centre, in cooperation with the head of unit (professor).
- view all existing signatory rights for all cost centres of their Vice Presidency or School.
- assign the role of unit administrator within the cost centres of their Vice Presidency or School.
Finance officers are the main contacts for any question relating to cost centres and the Signature Register. Their expert knowledge enables them to provide an appropriate answer to each Vice Presidency or School.
