Biosafety officers for biosafety level 1 (BSL 1) or 2 (BSL 2) activities are strongly encouraged to attend this session to ensure they are up to date on both Swiss and EPFL regulations, as well as to refresh their current knowledge.

- BSO, PI, and EPFL Biosafety roles and responsibilities
- Notifications and autorisations (Ecogen)
- Biosafety concept
- BSL 2 lab checklist and access workflow
- Good microbiological practices
- Inactivation
