ARCHIZOOM & SG BUILDING:

The Archizoom space presents an archipelago of isles in suspension in which scale models realized by the architecture workshops of EPFL are put in perspective with texts from the anthology “Questions d’échelle” (Questions of scale) (Nadja Maillard, Actes Sud, 2018). The model, with its cardboard walls, its cut out characters, its Styrofoam trees, can control a world and give shape to ideas. The literary text opens to other imaginaries. Thus one and the other put our reveries into a mise en abyme.

  • Virtual immersion in one scale model
    thanks to virtual reality glasses
  • Projection of the documentary “Powers of Ten”,
realized in 1977 by designers Charles and Ray Eames
  • Workshop “Se rencontrer en construisant” (To meet by building) simultaneous with the Mudac
Take part in the fabrication of a collective living space, cosy and welcoming, by participating in the workshop “Se rencontrer en construisant”, organized under the conduct of young builders and simultaneously with the Mudac.
