Our Objectives and Mission
EPFL’s campus never stands still: new laboratories move in, buildings are transformed and energy needs evolve. The Infrastructure Service supports this evolution, from the first idea through to handover.
Our project managers listen to the needs of schools, laboratories and services, then design and manage refurbishments and new installations, with close attention to quality, schedule and budget. They also act as technical experts in the School’s major construction programmes.
Working closely with the School’s various services, we help make buildings more efficient and less energy-intensive. And because a successful project is also a safe one, we make sure every transformation meets the applicable standards and guidelines.
The Services We Offer:
Project and Layout Requests
For any request concerning the refurbishment, conversion or modification of infrastructure, submit your request using the online form. Our project managers will review it and support you from study to completion.
Layouts and Relocations
For your requests concerning layout changes or relocations, all the relevant information and regulations are available to simplify your procedures.
Energy on Campus
To support energy management on campus, our teams monitor the energy performance of infrastructure and provide recommendations for optimised resource use and improved energy efficiency.
Documentation for External Companies
To facilitate your work on campus, all necessary information and regulations for external companies can be found in the dedicated documentation.
