EPFL entities sometimes work together on joint initiatives, such as when two schools hold an event funded by the EPFL president’s office, or when a research group puts on an exhibition at EPFL Pavilions or Archizoom.
Mentioning the entities involved in joint initiatives is important for us in the EPFL community. But, for people outside EPFL, it can weaken their perception of the EPFL brand by drowning it in a series of EPFL-specific names. It also underscores the complexity of our School’s structure.
Core principle: Even if several EPFL entities work together on an initiative, the EPFL logo should be displayed most prominently. The entities’ logos must not be shown; if necessary, the entities’ names can be listed in text format at the end of the document, flyer, poster, etc.

Here, only the EPFL logo should be included, and EPFL’s role (relative to the other organizations) should be specified.

The role of EPFL and the other partners in this initiative is clearly defined.
