Comment s’intègrent les étudiants et chercheurs venus d’ailleurs ? A l’aumônerie de l’EPFL, pour permettre à des personnes du monde entier de rencontrer des gens établis de longue date dans la région nous mettons sur pied le projet ConneXion.

Vous habitez en Suisse depuis toujours ou un certain nombre d’années et vous êtes ouverts à la rencontre avec quelqu’un venant d’un autre horizon culturel. Concrètement cela se passe autour d’un repas et d’une sortie.

Le repas se prendra à la maison de préférence. Pourquoi pas un plat typique, ou simplement ce que vous avez du plaisir à cuisiner.

Pour la sortie, à vous de voir, une activité que vous aimez faire et du coup partager. Cela peut aller d’une marche dans le Jura à la visite du château de Chillon, en passant par une soirée à l’opéra, un tour en bateau sur le lac, une dégustation de vin, etc (laissez aller votre imagination).

Prérequis ? s’engager dans le projet sans arrières pensées, dans le seul but de l’échange culturel.

How do students and researchers from other countries integrate? At the EPFL chaplaincy, to allow people from all over the world to meet people who have been living in the region for a long time, we are setting up the ConneXion project.

How is it going?
You have lived in Switzerland for a long time or a certain number of years and are open to meeting someone from another cultural background. In concrete terms, this happens around a meal and an outing.
The meal will preferably be served at home. Why not a typical dish, or just what you enjoy cooking.
For the outing, it’s up to you to see, an activity you like to do and share. This can range from a walk in the Jura to a visit to the Château de Chillon, an evening at the opera house, a boat trip on the lake, a wine tasting, etc. (let your imagination run wild).
Prerequisites? to engage in the project with the sole aim of cultural exchange.
