Robopoly
Our members, students from EPFL or other schools, have access to a workshop with many tools, machines and components allowing them to carry out various electronics, mechanics or robotics projects, supervised and advised by students from the committee who are eager to share their knowledge. Robopoly’s infrastructure is unique: it is the only one at EPFL where beginners and experienced makers can rub shoulders, for personal or academic projects.
How to register?
Registration is open all year round. A fee of CHF 5 guarantees 24/7 access to the facilities until the start of the following academic year, to the workshops and to the office hours. No prior knowledge is required: just a bit of good humor and curiosity! Registration is done during office hours every Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., or by making an appointment with a member of the committee at [email protected]. A guided tour of the facilities is also possible without registration.

Kit PRisme
To get started with robotics from scratch, Robopoly offers a kit to assemble an autonomous and modular robot, the PRisme. This robotic platform, developed by the association, is the ideal framework to start and flourish, its versatility allowing rapid progression towards more advanced projects.
Demonstration
These presentations, given by the committee during the academic period, introduce different concepts of electronics, computer science, mechanics or robotics. Accessible and educational, they are there to accompany the assembly and handling of the different kits that we offer.
