Hori, une fille à la fois belle et intelligente, et Miyamura, un garçon discret et peu sociable, semblent à première vue être deux personnes que tout oppose. Pourtant, une rencontre fortuite les mène à découvrir qu’ils cachent tous deux une partie de leur personnalité qu’ils ne montrent à personne, et se lient d’amitié.
Au fil du temps, les deux adolescents aux personnalités opposées apprennent à mieux se connaître et réalisent qu’ils ont plus en commun qu’ils ne l’avaient imaginé. Ensemble, ils se soutiennent mutuellement pour préserver leur secret à l’école, et se découvrent des sentiments grandissants l’un envers l’autre.
