The research activity of the group focuses on the optical properties of planar photonic crystal in Si based and III-V materials. Our field of expertise extends from the theoretical and modelling, design, nanotechnology fabrication up to the optical measurements.

Recently we worked on the following topics :

• Structural slow light effects in coupled cavity waveguides
• Optical non linear effects in III-N based high quality factor photonic crystals cavities
• Optical trapping of beads and biological objects in hollow photonic crystals cavities
