ALL THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW on the Bachelor in Environmental Sciences and Engineering (SIE)

During the first year, students acquire a scientific foundation in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and informatics.

The bachelor cycle introduces specific courses dedicated to:
–       Environmental sciences (environmental chemistry, microbiology, soil sciences, atmospheric chemistry and physics, etc.)
–       Engineering techniques (hydrology for engineers, sanitation engineering, management of water and waste, quantitative methods, etc.) Students gradually acquire the tools and methods of engineering work.
In the last year, you can choose options in the context of master specialisations.
The bachelor is an intermediate diploma It’s the passport to start the master cycle, either at EPFL or in another university anywhere in the world.
