PepsiCo joins the IFNC as a new member

Last week, PepsiCo officially joined EPFL’s Integrative Food and Nutrition Center as a member. “We are proud to welcome PepsiCo in the IFNC family”, says Christian Schwab, IFNC Executive Director. “The company’s philosophy around food sustainability and its involvement to foster innovation in this area is outstanding, and we look forward to an enriching collaboration.”

PepsiCo is one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, serving more than 200 countries and territories around the world. It was founded in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay.

The PepsiCo Greenhouse programme

The company launched the 2020-2021 PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator Programme. This collaborative initiative aims to support breakthrough innovations and technologies in the food and beverage industry. This year, the programme is looking for companies with clinically proven research behind ingredients, technologies, devices or services that improve the aging process through wellness and health management. The open call to take part in this programme has been launched on December 7, 2020.
