Are you a clinician wondering whether and how AI could assist you in your clinical/research practice?
Are you a life scientist with biological data (omics; imaging) that you previously published and would like to be mined by talented scientists to generate disruptive science?
This call is for you. Idiap, EPFL Life Science School, EPFL CIS and CHUV together with SIB, SDSC and HUG, are launching a two-days hackathon to bring together life scientists, clinicians and data scientists.
With the overarching goal to raise awareness among clinicians and life scientists about the untapped potential of AI in life science and clinical research, our objectives include:
- Fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Encouraging innovative data analysis.
- Promoting the re-use and sharing of valuable existing data.
If you are interested to take part in this event (with a question/idea/data-set to be revisited), we invite you to either write a half-page max description of your idea to Raphaëlle Luisier ([email protected]) or ask for a small chat with us to discuss your project’s potential by contacting any member of the organisation committee.
We are expecting to collect all ideas/projects by the 15th of November 2023 and look forward to hearing from you!
With best regards,
The organisers
