Bianca Schmiedle is the Scientific Coordinator for Neurorobotics with the Simulation Neuroscience Division.
Bianca leads the coordination of all scientific activities within the Neurorobotics Department, as well as providing project management for internal and external scientific projects.
Before joining the Blue Brain, Bianca worked in Lausanne for a leading Medical Devices company as Scientific Associate Project Manager while in parallel she running her own online business in Brazil.
Bianca holds a BA Hons is Biomedical Sciences focused on Molecular Biology and Genetics, and has Masters in both Forensic Genetics from Universidade de Sāo Paulo, Brazil, and Biomedical and Molecular Sciences Research from Kings College London, England. In 2014, she decided to venture into the business world and received an MA in International Business in Geneva.
In her spare time, Bianca enjoys skiing, taking long walks by the lake, driving speed boats, travelling, as well as reading and cooking.
