Last week, members of QMAT traveled to Okayama, Japan to attend the International Conference on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems, discuss with collaborates and present their research. Recent graduate, Dr. Maja Bachmann, and post-doc, Dr. Chunyu Guo, both won awards for their posters (Maja pictured above). QMAT would like to thank all of the organizers and participants of the conference for the interesting discussions.
